soap and water is an on-running joke that shimmy and milhouse started at a dirty punker gig.
we carried a digicam and (fake) ID and claimed that we were with "soap and water magazine".
this lead to stupid questions like,
"have you dirty, smelly, punkers ever heard of soap and water?",
and they all said no.
